it's 8:50 am Monday, 15 hours after I booked a package of flight and hotel with Priceline. It said I had a 24 hour window to cancel.
Well I've tried to cancel and I've been on the phone now with PL for almost 2 hours. This company is wicked shrewd, and not in a good way. First they told me that there would be a cancellation fee to cancel the flight. Then they said that my hotel was non-cancellable, saying it was the hotel's policy.
I finally got the flight cancelled, and decided to call the hotel directly. The hotel said that they would be happy to cancel my reservation up to the day I arrive, but that priceline has my money, they don't. They also said that they would never issue a cancellation fee. I have called PL back 3 more times and been given a run around and left on hold while they try to call the hotel to verify what I said.
They keep saying the telephone number isn't working. I called that hotel twice with no issue.
I will NEVER use PL again. They are horrendous.
