I also had a HORRIBLE experience with Priceline. So many stories out there.
I started a twitter to keep track. twitter.com/Pricelinevictim Basically the touch screen on the device I was using malfunctioned and it ended up submitting the form and buying a ticket. It's actually a known issue with the device when it's plugged in a certain adapter. Called priceline within a minute of it confirming a reservation.
Talked to two "customer service" guys who had no power to change anything and acted like they cared very little if at all.
When I asked to speak to someone who could actually help me they gave me a mailing address as if there's going to be time to write and receive a reply to my letter between now and my reservation in a few days. Terrible.
