Unsafe and very wrongly advertised . Unsafe.

Parking off site in dark alley . Door didnt lock. Metal crate for air filter hanging from ceiling .. ready to fall on someone head.

Will never be using Priceline again. No working smoke detector or extra blanket for couch.

Priceline advertised this to be so great and charged my card with no issue so Im expecting my money from them. Lesson learned

Priceline visa barclays-standard refund not added yet

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. The company finally offered full refund.

Keep trying. Don’t give up.

Original review Aug 04, 2025

I had a fraud charge of $110 on my Priceline Barclays Visa from 7/18/25 from Runkles Notary. The billing manager called to refund.

After the refund from the company, Priceline Visa charged my card again instead of leaving it plain with a recent refund.

Now the card shows a $110 balance instead of a zero balance. When I tried to confront Runkles over the chargeback, they said they had fully refunded once already.

Resolved: Unethical and criminal conduct

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Sep 15, 2025

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. After speaking with a supervisor Priceline refunded my money for the rental car.

Do not use them, they have dishonest employees and unethical practices. Know what products you purchased and the refund policies.

Escalate your complaint to a manager, do not be a doormat for them to steal your money. They know rightfully you are owed a refund, but they will deny you, plant doubt and essentially strongarm you.

Original review updated Aug 29, 2025
Cancelled my airline tickets within the 24-hour deadline, due to having to change dates. thus, I needed to cancel my rental car reservation, which was also before 24 hours.
A female Priceline rental car employee stated she would allow a one-time exception and cancel my rental car for the full amount (the employee quoted the exact amount I paid/would be refunded).
Within a matter of seconds, the employee changed her mind after assuring me the refund would be done and told me to hold on; she had to check the contract.

The employee came back online and "all of a sudden" said there's a penalty on the contract; therefore, I will be charged a penalty. I stood my ground and called B.S. on that and reminded her she just told me I would get a one-time exception and would receive a full refund. I went on to tell her I read the reservation, and there was nothing about a penalty on the reservation when I made the purchase.

furthermore, I told her how unethical it is to go back on her word and that we are on a recorded line.
Well, I guess the employee didn't like me calling her out, so she asked me to hold again to allegedly check the contract again. the employee came back online with a different story and stated the 'waiver' on the contract says I cannot be refunded after all, and she was sorry for the inconvenience.
I did not let that stand and demanded to speak with a supervisor. The female supervisor came on the line, and I unleashed! I let the supervisor know the three conflicting stories her employee just gave me regarding my refund.

I reminded her that I am a repeat customer, and a company should not treat their customers as such. Not only that, but I requested a copy of the recording and told the supervisor I was going to make a complaint. I expressed my disgust for the dishonesty and lack of customer service skills with that employee. I told the supervisor to stop playing games and persistently demanded my money.
The supervisor agreed to refund my money, and I received a confirmation email with the refund details before I got off the phone.
Before I hung up, I told the supervisor the employee needed to be given a written reprimand for her deceitful and spiteful behavior.

I asked how Priceline allows such unethical behavior within the company. I will no longer use Priceline for travel, and I recommend you don't either.

This company is teetering on the edge of criminal behavior. Buyer beware!

Not happy

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

On our trip, all the rooms in Eureka were booked. The agent said 6 miles east of Eureka is one room available.

This was 22 miles east of Eureka! Berryville, Arkansas, Ayas Blossoms Inn was the hotel. The room looked clean, smelled okay, and the king-size bed was nicely made with a white top and fitted sheet set, with a throw laid neatly across the foot of the bed. It appeared to be made.

I took a bath, and my husband took a shower. There was no sink in the restroom, only a tub! The sink was by the door. We snacked on some groceries that we brought; there were no vending machines.

A staff member was at the front desk, and I stood waiting for 5 minutes after ringing the bell. No clerk came. My husband and I went to bed maybe 2 hours after check-in. The room was 67 degrees, and there was no blanket or bedspread (sheets only).

I got up to get a drink of water, and there were cockroaches everywhere! Disgusting, to say the least.

Priceline customer support

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been loyal and trusted this company for a long time now. As a matter of fact, I am actually a Gold VIP member.

I have no problems and issues with them and usually always quick to solve the issues. But this recent one that I used this service, I am very very disappointed. I booked a room on Sept 28-29 and it was a Deluxe King Suite at a LA Quinta. My husband and I just wanted to get away from chaos in the house just for several hours before he goes to work and I planned to stay until check out time at 11 am.

We had to make sure our son is good and someone will watch him and so checked in at around 3 am on the 29th already which is Monday. The room was big and nice but after 30 minutes we realized that the AC is not cooling down the entire room like normal. We started sweating and all so I went down to the front desk and told the lady but I spoke first to the priceline online and they told me what to do. So the front desk lady decided to move us to a different room and I was like well hopefully it's worth what we paid for.

She gave me the key and I went there and sent how small the room is and has a two queen beds. My husband was very disappointed and he only have one hour to spend before he goes to work so we decided to just go home and not stay. This is around 5 am already and I told the front desk that we won't stay anymore and if there's a paper I need to sign to show that we didn't stay. She said nothing and just leave the key in the room.

I tried to cancel the room online but it won't allow me as it's already that same day. So we packed our things and we left and the front desk told me to speak with the manager about the refund. So we left. After that I have been in contact with Priceline and the hotel about this mater and they have been giving me run around.

The hotel even tried to give me a $11.74 refund for the room that we didn't use. The front desk lady tried also to lie to the owner and told him we stayed till check out knowing we left and she only stayed till 6 am that day, the manager informed me. We have paid $95.83 for this room and up to this time there is no update and solution to this. I am also fixing to call the corporate office support team and see they can do something about it.

I'm also disputing this in my bank account.

I can't believe it. I guess I don't be using Priceline anymore

If you checked in at 3am you already used 12 out of the 20 hours of your rental. (the fact that you were not there from check-in at 3pm previous day is on you). You really don’t deserve anything.

Disgusted with the customer service

I have used Priceline for years, spending over $16,300.00 during this time. My iPhone was stolen, and I can no longer access both my email and old phone number associated with my account.

I was a Gold VIP member and had the benefits that came with that status. I can no longer access my Priceline account to update my info. I spoke with customer service and was eventually transferred to a supervisor named Mary. No matter how many times I repeated that I can’t log in, don’t remember my password, and can’t access the email and phone number associated with the account to reset the password, she would tell me to log into my account and update my info.

After many attempts and explanations that I can't log in to update the account, she then just flat out lied to me and insisted that I go to my cell provider because they can access my email. Even after I said they can’t do that, she insisted over and over that they can. All the supervisor did was repeatedly lie to me, over and over again. My only other option is to start a new account, losing all the benefits after having spent all the money over the years and the benefits that come with being a Gold VIP.

Don’t waste your money and time. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues and lost money with Priceline. And every time there is a problem with Priceline, the customer is the one who pays the price, literally!!!

It is never a win-win; it’s always a long, drawn-out hassle and a lousy experience having to deal with the customer service department, which, by the way, provides the worst customer service!!!

If you are thinking about booking anything through Priceline, don’t just run in the opposite direction!!!

Prices change

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The Google AI Summary about Priceline is correct.

Deceptive pricing and "bait-and-switch" tactics: Some users claim prices change during the booking process.

I just experienced it. I seldom do reviews.

But wanted to help people out there. Consider other alternatives. The travel specialist was helpful. But in the end continued to change prices and won't even send an updated offer.

I have to accept the price verbally.

I ended up cancelling. Just lots of effort and time wasted.

Booking issue

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Priceline charged me for a full trip that was paid in full in early October. In November, upon checking out from the hotel, we learned that Priceline didn't pay the hotel and the hotel had to double charge me.

I will be filing legal action against Priceline as they haven't been responsible. I have all receipts and I can't get hold of anyone at Priceline. It's impossible to speak to someone and they keep telling me we will look into it. Horrible service and liars.

They use people's money and operate a scam. Ridiculous.
