Not the right amount of people I booked In the room so I had to pay extra out of pocket for my kids tickets that should have been included with Priceline’s booking.

Priceline has me put in how many people are staying and my kids ages, yet when I got to the hotel Priceline only said there was 2 people staying at the hotel not 5 like it was supposed to be. I payed extra for my kids to have tickets that should have been included with the stay if Priceline would have gotten the booking straight it wouldnt have happened.

Then I was on the phone with them for a long time and they said to send the pic of my credit card bill to them and all they did was send it to Mt Olympus and of course they said theres nothing they can do..because its Pricelines fault!!!

They were the one who didnt put the right amount of people staying, it happened at both Mt. Olympus and Land of Natura, cost me over $57 that shouldnt have ever been but its all because of Priceline they say to put whos all staying in the room but it does no good because they will just put 2 people stay.

Extremely Disappointing Experience Beware of Hidden Fees

I would strongly caution anyone considering renting from this company. Our experience was extremely disappointing, and the final cost in addition to the amount I already paid to rent the car was over $800 because of fees and charges that were not clearly explained upfront.

To make matters worse, the rental vehicle was not in acceptable condition.

The car shook badly while idling, which was very concerning. We also discovered that there was no radiator fluid and no windshield washer fluid in the vehicle. A rental car should be properly inspected, serviced, and ready to drive when it is handed over to a customer.

Then came the unexpected charges. We were charged hidden toll fees and an additional-driver fee.

We were also told that our personal auto insurance policy had to provide $300,000 in coverage, or we would have to purchase their additional insurance. None of this was clearly explained to us when we initially booked the rental.

We were so unhappy with the vehicle and the additional charges that we demanded a refund and returned the rental.

We then went to Alamo, and the experience was completely different. They treated us with respect, clearly explained the costs, had no hidden fees, and offered us 2026 vehicles. The difference in customer service and the quality of the vehicle was night and day.

Our experience taught us an important lesson: don't just compare the advertised rental price.

Ask for the total cost, all insurance requirements, toll policies, additional-driver fees, and every possible charge in writing before accepting the vehicle.

We will not rent from this company again. Based on our experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere and saving yourself the frustration.

Information to think about.

AI Highlights
  • - Paid for 10 days at Motel 6, but no room was provided.
  • - Refunds and updates from Priceline and the hotel were slow or unavailable.

Well, I went to priceline, and was approached with a mystery hotel for a really good price. I needed 10 days in the room.

I drew motel 6. Im on the dnr list for pointing out ignorance.i didn't pick motel six, the promotion did. I called motel six, to see if I was on their dnr list. I was told I had to physically be present to determine that information.

To get there 80 bucks on lyft, dragging a lady who can't walk, and has no wheel chair, for maybe nothing, i called priceline the night of booking to stop payment , and stressed the point of the handicapped woman, they said they would email me soon. The next day I received an email, staing it was still under consideration. This started on the 1rst. I contacted priceline on the 4rth stating I need my money, said they would email me, I stopped them there and said I've been waiting 3 days.

No emails answers. Priceline e says they emailed motel 6. I go to motel 6, on the 4th day.i try to check in, was denied. Wait a minute, no matter what you say.

I paid for 10 days in motel 6. They could easily given me a room for 6 days it's paid for. Nope, Burned me again. My problem is this, I paid for 10 days and received nothing.

How is this legal. How can they take an elderly woman s 650.00 with no empathy, or an ounce customer service. She has lost 750.00 to motel 6, a d re lived nothing for the money, combine with priceline, over 1650, lost in 3 months do to technical hidden rules.put the small print way in the back on pets . Filthy, crack pipe, no breakfast, unsafe conditions, loud music and partying in the parking lot, 1 towel for 4 guests, no breakfast, 3 days without water in the pool. The pool is still unsafe, watered-down coffee, no toilet paper, I had to clean the toilet and tub before use. Original review updated Jul 31, 2026

I booked a hotel room with Priceline for two nights at Woodspring June 2025. I was locked out of my hotel room, and a complaint was made to the hotel.

The hotel manager explained that because the complaint was third party that she could not do anything but to make a complaint with the third party who was Priceline.

I followed up the complaint that was made through to Priceline (833-***-***-**) who I made the reservation with. However, Priceline then informed me that the reservation was through Booking.com. However, I did not make the reservation through Booking.com. So, I contacted Booking.com and long story short, they apologized for the inconvenience, reached out to the hotel and promised a refund for the first night but I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND, still waiting (2026).

The confirmation number and reservation number of the complaint with Booking.com is 466430****. Please help me get my refund of $102.49 This is misleading business practice. I did business with Priceline not Booking.com. They promise refunds then do not make good on it.

Priceline and Booking.com should be investigated.

I had a similar issue in 2024 that went unresolved. Priceline took my money for a cancellation that was made within 10 to 15 minutes of making a reservation.

This is how they thrive, by taking people money.

I will not use either company again! Just a warning to those who are considering using either company.

Booked one night at sonesta suites in earth city. Upon arrival the manager was extremely rude.

After inquiring about the deposit he clearly was going to make the stay miserable because I had annoyed him with my questions. So we check in and he puts us in room 141. The second we opened the door we were hit with the worst odor. The ac unit was blasting and once I looked down you could see the mold growing all throughout unit.

There is not a single doubt in my mind he knew he was putting us into a bad room. I work in another hotel as a manager and know the rooms are walked after they are cleaned. The smell was so noticeable. I knew he would be difficult when i came down so I apologized profusely for needing to switch rooms as to not make a scene in front of the other guests.

I showed him the photos I took to prove I wasn't being difficult. He wasn't apologetic and I was the one who had to ask to switch rooms. He looked at me like I was in the wrong. So he gives us another room all the way on the other side of the hotel with all our luggage and kids.

(another petty move it felt like)Walk in and it too reeks but it wasn't as awful. We had no choice but to stay because it was way too late to find other accommodations. Waking up following morning to all of us coughing and feeling terrible. I called Priceline immediately and they couldn't get ahold of property to process refund and still haven't as of today 8/25/26.

We stayed here 8/19 -8/20. Very disappointed.

My son and myself are still dealing with whatever we picked up during our stay, but fortunately my daughter and husband aren't as bad. Hopefully we find a resolution soon.

If you work in a different hotel as a manager why didn't you stay somewhere that gives you a reciprocal discount? I doubt you manage anything.

Guest

When will OPs like you figure out that no one cares enough about you to make your stay difficult? You made your stay difficult by being a baby.

Guest

The hotel can only mark your reservation as no-show, stayed as booked or checked out early. They have no authority over deciding on a refund. Priceline can choose to believe your story, but only Priceline can refund.

I need to cancel a reservation that was made yesterday for August 13th 2026 to August 14th 2026 when I specifically put July 30th to July 31st 2016 and we went and paid didn't even realize it was paid

Priceline - I need to cancel a reservation that was made yesterday for August 13th 2026...

First off, my name is Thomas Devine, and I am 49 years old. The most valuable thing that I could have ever been blessed to have crossed paths with is my 75-year-old retired 20-year Army lieutenant colonel, Kathleen Joanne Wiltsie.

They know that she feels this way because of the lack of care for anybody other than themselves or whatever the case may be and don't give a crap about double-checking anything. I kind of take every aspect of that personally because when I do something amazing and special for this amazing woman, which is far and few between, thank Jesus it has been a lot more so this past month. When I set up a reservation before she did, it totally screwed everything up. We were still going to leave; the reservation was made and paid for on July 30th.

We got there probably at one or two in the morning because we spent some time in Williamsburg, and I wanted to treat her at Captain George's for amazing crab legs. The ride from point A, the entrance of being all the way down to where the Wyndham of Virginia Beach was, was the most horrible, dreadful, scary ride I've ever taken. First, should I say, I haven't taken in such a long time? It was so horrible—the atmosphere and everything was so dreary.

When we arrived at that hotel in Virginia Beach, that fat, lazy *** behind the counter didn't even want to hear the confirmation number, let alone acknowledge the reservation. He was so nasty that he basically smirked when I realized that it was for August 13th. When I asked him about getting a room, supposedly there were no reservations other than one that was $600 and then, oh yeah, a suite which was 1,000 or something like that.

I mean, are you serious? This is a 75-year-old beautiful woman who has dementia and miscarriage, so that is pretty pure straight ***

Priceline - Hotel package not provided in full.

We booked our hotel with priceline above other competitors as the price ($5200) for 2 weeks included breakfast as advertised when booking the room (which I have evidence of). At no point were we contacted to advice any different.

Upon arrival and checking with reception we were advised no food package had been added. This appeared as no surprise to the reception staff, so asse this is a regular occurrence. We were advised to contact priceline directly. Ai chat was useless and calling customer service the call was ended all 3 times.

Priceline had falsely advertised the hotel, and did not provide the service / hotel package we had booked. Priceline are scammers, they rob people and lie. I will be taking this further and getting legal advice. They should be struck off.

Breakfast for 2 for the 2 weeks is over $800. We were told this was included in the price. Priceline falsely advertise and won't even speak to their customers. They are a joke.

DO NOT USE. AVOID AT ALL COST.

If upon finding this information out you checked out, you only deserve a refund for any unused nights. If you stayed and failed to contact the police to verify the individual in question had a legal right to stay there, that falls on you. You don't use a service and get a refund.

We booked a hotel through Priceline, and when we got there, we found out that the sex offender lives there. We called the front desk, but they wouldn't do anything, so we called Priceline.

Priceline agreed to a one-day refund, and then they agreed to another day's refund. Now they're saying that never happened, even though I have proof that it did. So now I'm going to go after not only Priceline but Motel 6. I'm leaving reviews on everything to ruin both of them.

This was by far the worst experience I had booking a hotel through Priceline. Upon arriving at the hotel I showed the front desk my ID and confirmation email.

She tells me shes unable to find my booking in their system. After 1 hour of trying to connect to an agent, the agent gives a totally different confirmation number from whats listed on my confirmation email.

And to call to get assistance, I was consistently connected to their AI bot (Penny) who kept giving the same number that wouldnt ring. A total nightmare.

After the new confirmation number was given by the agent, the front desk tells me the two Queen beds room that I booked is NOT available.

Priceline just cancelled out vacation...

Priceline just cancelled our vacation hotel booking 3 days before we arrive. They blamed the hotel and sent us a text saying the hotel cancelled it.

We called the hotel, and they showed us they did not. Priceline refunded us.

I have the text of Priceline blaming the hotel. It was Priceline who did.

Now we have no place to stay and will arrive in 2 days.

How do you think my family of 5 feels?

Someone had better respond or contact me, or this is going straight to the top.

Preferred solution: Apology

User's recommendation: Never book with Priceline. Garage pieces of ***
