Priceline Trip Number 403-***-***-**. I noticed my wife's middle Initials in the "given name" only, were not in the booking confirmation email for an overseas flight.

Since it's an international requirement that the name must match exactly the name on the passport, I contacted Priceline customer service representative. I was given an email address and directed to send all information including a copy of the first page of the passport, so that they would update the booking. This I did, but after 10 days of waiting and multiple calls to service representative, a week from departure, the name had still not been changed. Fearful that I would not be able to travel as by now it was but a week away, I wanted to rebook the flight but was told that it would have to be cancelled before being able to rebook it.

This I did and I was refunded the price of the booking LESS 200.00 penalty.

It is Priceline customer service inactivity that for 10 days and multiple phone calls were not able to address the change that caused me to cancel the booking. I feel it's unfair to be charged 200.00 and I want it back.o not book thru DDyD

I went to the Holiday Inn website and selected the area code of the hotel I was attempting to book. I was trying to ensure I wasn't dealing with a third-party booker.

They didn't inform me about any cancellation policy and when I printed out my confirmation, it was $200 more than we had discussed on the phone. I called back within an hour to cancel. They said I hadn't followed the cancellation policy, which stated that I had to cancel the day BEFORE the reservation.

I caused a bit of a fuss and received a text message saying they were going to reimburse me, but that hasn't happened. I've called several times and they told me I had to pay $200 to get reimbursed my $700.

Priceline - Refund unhappy extremely upset
Original review Oct 02, 2024

On September 27, 2024, at the Red Roof Inn for a funeral, I discovered a baby roach crawling toward my food. I recorded this incident on my phone.

Later, I found roaches on the bathroom floor, in the sink, and emerging from the drains, which was horrifying. I informed the front desk around midnight. They offered to change my room or spray insecticide while I was present, both of which were unacceptable. I requested a refund, but it was denied.

I reached out to Priceline for assistance, but they have never provided help when I deserved a refund, despite having video evidence of the roaches, which are known to carry diseases.

In January 2024, my son returned home from the military for the holidays and was hit by a drunk driver, resulting in an ICU stay for months. I canceled the booking two days prior, which the hotel initially denied. However, Priceline's rules allowed for cancellation within 24 hours without penalty. Priceline apologized and promised a refund as an exception, but they never followed through.

Another incident occurred in June 2024, during a stay in Galveston booked through Priceline.

Construction work began at 6 AM in the room next to mine on a SATURDAY. Despite my complaints and video evidence, the hotel staff denied the occurrence of construction work.

The manager refused to inspect the third floor where drilling and hammering, clearly construction was happening, causing debris to fall on us and loud noise due to the proximity. My request for a refund was again refused, and Priceline did not assist me, despite my loyalty as a customer who has booked multiple stays without issues

PRICELINE HAS FAILED ME TOO MANY TIMES.

I booked a reservation for a room thru Priceline while out of town with my service dog and grand babies. The 1st room was booked solid altho I had a confirmed booking that was PAID in full.

So I booked another hoping they'd refund me if course since it was their mistake. The 2nd room same thing. Again they didn't hesitate taking my money altho I didn't get to check in. They tried relocating me to Howard Johnson's.

They would not accommodate me due to my service dog , they don't allow pets, they didn't understand the law behind service animals but they also refused my grandbabies being there. No more relocating I wanted my money back. Long story SHORT THEY PROMISED A FULL refund it's been 3 months and due to their dishonest actions I had to use my rent money to get another room. All in all that costed me my home as I was evicted.

My other bills went down hill including my credit score. And still they will not give my money back. After they email me saying they are processing a refund. Nope.

Never. This BS has costed me $10,000 in expenses due to moving and having to pay for movers as I'm disabled. And fees with late payments on credit cards. And not to mention.

The emotional strain and stress I have endured and still have to fight to rebuild again after what they costed me. I have solid proof of it all very well documented.

I need someone to help me go after them for the financial expenses this place has costed me due to their bad business.

FYI MY terms and conditions state that charges will not be charged until actual check in is complete. Yet both times they took money early and in dane day n

They can refuse service to anyone they choose at any time ; it is privately owned. You did not lose $10,000.00 ; that is a lie.

You know what they say when you ASSUME things... Anyways....

I'm from a high cost of living city that actually DOES cost a lot to move and when you're in need of physical help to move and packing and carting furniture down from a high rise to a parking stall that is only available for 30 minutes it can cost quite a bit when you need to pay people to do it or to help you And did you not read that after they took my money and failed to accommodate me for what I paid for they promised my money in refund but it never came so yes when you are out of money and have 3 small girls with you and a service dog (not a pet) by FEDERAL LAW they can NOT discriminate and refuse you service at a place of public accomodations under those grounds. May i suggest getting educated on federal laws and the CIVIL RIGHTS ACT as well as the ADA PROTECTIONS? that stands for AMERICANS with DISABILITIES ACT in case you didn't know ... it's minds like this that catch discrimination cases for feeling entitled to break federal laws that are in place to protect people like me from being treated like nothing and from being victim to financial exploitation.

Be well.. get informed... Most of all be respectful of others. No need to call people names that you dont even know.

That's just ignorance to assume what you do not know....

Happy 4th of July to you . I will pray for peace to embrace you and release your bitterness so that you can be open minded some day and able to soak up some knowledge about our country and what so many people have spent their lives and risked their lives for that make America the place everybody strives to live.

You still did not lose $10,000.00 ; that is a lie. Even your verbose sermon cannot change that.

You do not have "clean hands" as you sit and quote this law, that act, whatever while lying about the damages incurred. You'd be tossed out of any court in the land with a damage claim like that despite your jailhouse lawyer manner and capital letter format lecture.

Priceline - Was quoted a motel by penny then not honered - Image 2

I was greeted by Penny and requested a room in the Pigeon Forge area that I had enjoyed during my stay just a week before. I had already entered the two-night stay from 9/10 through 9/13 and it was a wonderful evening.

I wanted to see if I could take advantage of the same price at $33. She came back with $32 a night in Pigeon Forge. I asked if I could get 4 days and she showed me the Americana Inn at $32, the total being $123.00. She also gave me a quote of $72 a night for the same dates and I reminded her why I would want to spend more for the same.

She put me on hold twice and didn't come back until I asked if she was still working on it. She acted as if I had given the incorrect info. I didn't notice until moments later that the typing on the keyboard was vulgar and appeared to be entered by me, but I never typed such things. I asked Penny why I was quoted something that was not available.

I gave up trying to get the key point across and calling the Priceline number leaves no option to book a trip or speak with anyone else apart from what I'm doing now, typing!

Your automated system is rude and difficult, even annoying. I understand it's after hours, it's 9:51 Eastern time on 9/9/24, but I want to be helped now.

Priceline - Warn other customers

I made a reservation on Priceline for Hotel at Sleepy Hollow, MY along with car. The reservation details are

Priceline Trip Number: 645-***-***-**

Sleepy Hollow Hotel

Sep 24 Sep 26 · Check-in: after 04:00 PM

Confirmation #: 78485****

Mid-Size SUV

Sep 24 Sep 26 · Pick-up: 10:30 PM

Confirmation #: K990204****

My family arrived at the hotel and the front desk agent at Sleepy Hollow hotel denied us room and told me to take it up with Priceline.

I called Priceline customer service and the first agent pretended not to hear me and hung up. I called second time to talk to another agent who put me on hold. The agent mentioned (after 15 minutes) that the hotel is not picking up the phone and he will not be able to do anything if the hotel did not pick up the phone. He asked me to go to front desk and get someone on my mobile and front desk person refused to even look at me and walked away to the interior of the hotel.

The other person was on phone for entire time 1 hour plus. I asked the agent if he could get us a room elsewhere and he said he cannot get me another room until the Sleepy Hollow hotel picks up the phone. He later got his supervisor on the phone and left. This lady put me on hold for another ~ 30 minutes in between talking to tell me that she is trying to call the hotel.

After 45 minutes, she tells me that the best resolution since i was a loyal customer was that she will log a complaint on the hotel and launch an internal investigation. I told her that that does not help me and my family and it is not an resolution at all. She kept repeating the same thing 8 to 10 times on how that is the best resolution for me and my family. I told her repeatedly that we are on street and it is unsafe.

When i asked her for her manager, she mentions that the answer would be the same and she tells me that she has many customers to attend and hangs up on me.

We were left stranded on the street, and I find it unacceptable and am looking for legal avenues to follow up on the matter. I cannot comprehend how Priceline treats their customers.

I was left stranded in Mexico after my confirmation number didnt match the dates of my reservation (July 14th-July 19th).

They kept saying it was a June reservation. I did stay here in June.

I came back TODAY (July 14) and the confirmation number for the June trip and July trip are exactly the same. This is the problem. See pics below. Most pics are for July (Priceline App) and one pic is from Booking.com that shows June date.

Reservation numbers are the same. Shrug

I called customer service and they stated they could do nothing on their end. An email was sent to the resort asking for permission to book the room at the same Priceline rate. Its Sunday and the resort offices are closed for this department.

I was left without accommodation and had to pay a much higher rate out of pocket.

I called the Priceline number four different times (forwards you to Booking.com every single time - their sister company that handles customer inquiries) and never got a resolution.

I was on hold a total of 95 minutes for all calls and spent a lot of time talking with customer service.

Still no resolution.

I just booked another day here at the resort out of pocket at a much higher rate. Im hoping they can resolve this tomorrow.

I booked a room through Priceline for the Hampton Hotel in Antioch, TN. Priceline advertised the room as having one king bed, and two double beds, so I thought this was great - my two teenage sons and I would have plenty of room.

I booked it, only to find out the night before our trip that the hotel does NOT have a room like this! They gave me a room with two double beds instead. I paid more for this room because it was advertised as having 'three beds'. I called Priceline and was told, 'sorry for the inconvenience but there's nothing we can do but cancel it for you'.

Seriously? No discount was offered, no offer to reimburse me some of my money back. False advertisement!

Iam Yaye, I bought my round trip ticket with priceline. The date of the plane was the 17 of August from Montréal to Edmonton, and the return was the 21st of August from Edmonton to Montréal.

My return was programmed for today at 7 am with my two kids. We arrived at 5:09 to the airport. When we came to register, the agent came to us and said that are ticket was not in there systeme. She verified with her supervisor by the confirmation number(BYL2ZC).

After a couple of minutes they told me to verify the ticket with the agence that sold me the ticket.

After that, I called priceline, I talked with the employee Michelle and she said that the ticket had a problem and that it was pricelines système who was at fault.

The agent, Michelle, proposed me to buy another ticket and that the company, priceline, would refund me.

Now I paid 2234,85$ to priceline for a ticket round trip. Then when I arrived with my children in the flair Airlines gâte, the told me that I can Travel because the ticket wasnt in the système.

I was obligated to buy another ticket, the Priceline superviser Michelle told

Me to buy and you prixeline will refus me the ticket after 3 day. Sincèrement that day I m waiting.

CAN someone speak with me? Please.

Now I was faced with no support of your company priceline wich costed me 2800$ approximatively to go back home in Montréal with my kids.

After are phone call of that morning, the agent and the supervisor promised me a refund at 100% of the amount that I spent to go back in Montréal.

For that, I Hope that you will respect your word and respect the client that you had to deal with who sufered alot during this trip.

Priceline Left me when I needed them the most during my whole trip.

When I first left, from Montréal at Toronto and Toronto to Edmonton, My flight, 405 of porter, got cancelled and I was left in the airport from 1:00 PM the 17th of August to 7:00AM the 18th of August without no services from your company.

I am waiting from you a compensation and a refund of my ticket of return of last minute.

Right under the ticket nougat at the last minute.

Priceline promised me a 20% off on my next purchase after having a bad experience staying at the Chicago Loop through them. I got on Priceline to reserve a room in a different hotel in Chicago for another event while I was traveling home on June 23rd to use the 20% off. As soon as I paid $156.97, I received an email from Priceline with the incorrect hotel and city. I called them within 3 minutes, but I was put on hold indefinitely. When the representative answered the phone, she informed me that my money was nonrefundable because I agreed to the terms. While I had agreed to the terms, it was for the correct hotel and city. She informed me that if I failed to show up at the incorrect hotel, it would be held against me.

I asked to speak to the supervisor, who gave me some nonsense about how they would call me the following day to let me know whether I would receive my money back. I knew then that I wasn't getting my money back. When I didn't receive a call the following day, I called Priceline. They informed me that they had sent an email stating that my money was nonrefundable. I told them that I planned to write on every review site to ensure that no one else was mistreated in this way. They claimed that they have no problem refunding customer's money; however, they maintained possession of mine. I had screenshots showing the correct information I entered before buying the room, but they didn't even ask to see it.

Moreover, I paid $513.00 for The Chicago Loop and had a horrible experience. They still had the audacity to keep my money after that? They also didn't honor their promise of a 20% discount. I usually use Hotel.com, from which I've never had any issues, but I wanted to save money this time. This was a big mistake! After using this company, I read through their reviews and saw that they have done this to many customers. I'm so angry that I didn't read these reviews before using the company.

Please read all reviews before purchasing from this company. They are not customer-friendly.

Yeah, I see how "cheap" is a real "pro". All this nonsense of yours because you tried to save a shekel.

You get what you pay for ; deal with the actual vendor, seller, whatever. Forget these third party parasites since there is no accountability.

Is "cheap" really that great ? Listening to you whine, I have to wonder.

And you must have a very boring life or work for the company to even take time out your day to respond to me because I’m letting people know about a company that will steal from their customers. If me warning others about this company so they won’t get burnt by them is whining, then I will own that!

People work hard for their money to be stole by this company is not good business! $669.00 is all the money I spent with Priceline for bad service. That is not cheap! So if my whining makes you mad get in your pockets and refund me.

Have you checked the reviews? There is quite a few people whining about the same thing so you’re going to be very busy responding to all. And just to let you, know I’m whining on every site to warn people before they’re burnt by this company. So while you wondering, I’ll be writing more reviews on different sites.

Just so no one else gets done like this. So you’re going to have a lot of wondering to do. Thanks for having me on your mind! You don’t have to read my review but you did!

You work for the company or your life is that miserable that you have nothing better to do with it but respond to people who are warning people about crooked companies!

Have good life Mr. Guest, hiding behind your response!

Must cancel due to hurricane coming into Tampa, Florida

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had two nights booked at the Radisson Airport in Salt Lake City. The first night was October 6, and the second night was October 7.

I was in Yellowstone and up in Cody, Wyoming, when I found out that there was a hurricane heading directly towards Tampa, Florida. My flight was early on the morning of the eighth, which implied that I probably wouldn't be able to fly into Tampa for the next three or four days. Consequently, I cancelled my reservation at the hotel and secured an earlier flight on Sunday, the sixth. They refused to refund my money for the night of the sixth, which I find a bit annoying considering it was due to a hurricane and not just a change in plans.

I will contact Discover Card and dispute the charges. Thank you, Frank.
