File complaint against priceline and extended stay

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Dec 26, 2025

The property advertises elevators and on-site laundry facilities; however, during my stay the elevators were extremely slow and unreliable, causing long delays. The laundry facilities were non-functional/broken, despite being listed as an available amenity. These issues were not disclosed prior to booking and significantly impacted the usability of the stay. The condition of the room and common areas did not align with the quality presented in Priceline’s listing.Management was notified of these issues but did not provide a solution, repair timeline, or accommodation. No partial or full refund was offered despite the reduced functionality of advertised amenities.Video evidence has been uploaded showing the actual condition and functionality issues at the property.

Updated by user Dec 26, 2025

The property conditions did not match the photos or descriptions shown on Priceline at the time of booking.Multiple essential amenities were unavailable, including elevators and laundry facilities, despite being advertised. The unsanitary condition of the room required immediate cleaning beyond normal wear and tear, which was not provided. The issues were reported to hotel management during the stay, but no corrective action or alternative accommodation was offered. The hotel failed to offer a partial or full refund despite the documented issues.Priceline was used as the booking platform, but the hotel refused to take responsibility, redirecting responsibility back to Priceline. The stay did not meet basic hospitality standards, making the room unsuitable for the length of stay booked.Video evidence has been uploaded showing the actual condition of the property at the time of stay.

Original review updated Dec 26, 2025
I booked a room at Extended Stay America Fort Myers Northeast through Priceline, expecting accommodations consistent with the listing and advertised standards.
Upon arrival, the property was significantly misrepresented. The room and common areas were unsanitary, including visibly dirty conditions.

Multiple elevators were non-functional, and the on-site laundry facilities were broken, making basic amenities unavailable during my stay.

These issues were not disclosed at the time of booking.
Additionally, when I raised these concerns, the hotel manager responded in an unprofessional and dismissive manner, showing no effort to resolve the problems or accommodate the situation.
Due to the poor conditions, lack of advertised amenities, and unprofessional management, the stay did not meet reasonable expectations or the terms presented by Priceline. This constitutes a failure to deliver the service that was paid for.
I am requesting a full refund of $750 based on false advertising, unsanitary conditions, and failure to provide basic services as advertised.

Original review Dec 23, 2025
I reserved a room for my granddaughter. They didn't need it, so I canceled it right away before the time that said I had to by 4 PM the next day before check-in.

They never checked in. When I was told it was canceled, I got no numbers but this: not sure what it is, Microhotel, Palm Coast, FL. They sent me this email with a partial number, which is 85412EE051051. It's been past 30 days; I did a dispute with PayPal, that's the card they charged on.

I never gave them that info, just my email. If this doesn't get refunded $210 for 3 nights, I will get a lawyer myself through Elder Source.

I called the Microhotel, and the desk clerk remembers me calling. Can you help?

Guest

Did the Priceline booking you made offer cancellation? A lot of times their prices are way cheaper but nonrefundable.

If it did not specify no refunds, was Priceline’s cancellation policy 24 hour notice? Most of the time they are more stringent (1-2 weeks). The hotel offers 24 hours, but that doesn’t apply in your case. Your customer service and policy adherence is with Priceline.

If you contacted the hotel to cancel, they just note that on your booking (so you are not listed as a no-show). That doesn’t authorize or generate a Priceline refund.

Guest

Did you initially call Priceline to cancel?

yes i did about 10+ times, & just had AI hang up on me, i didnt use their words, so the hotel is now looking into it, & so is paypal, the hotel said they gave me a refund minus a day, but never seen it yet, but i want a full refund, im a sr, on a small income, i need my money

The hotel did not “give” you a refund. They noted your reservation as “canceled” and the time and date you did so. The hotel has no authority to tell Priceline to refund your money.

Nothing at all, I was just giving the runaround. I've been calling for days trying to change or fix my flight.

I have a medical procedure coming up for my three-year-old son next week in Madison, Wisconsin.

All I'm asking for is a different flight for the money Priceline has of mine already. I also need to change the dates of the flight.

Refund from motel

Priceline - Refund from motel

I go out to check in. He takes a copy of my ID and says I owe him a $300.00 deposit for the room.

I tell him I didn't see that anywhere in the fine print. Well, I don't have the deposit, so I told him I want my refund back.

He tells me that I have to go through the third party. And he asked us to leave; his property lobby was closed.

You had a RESERVATION, not an approval to waltz in and leave with a car on your terms. For the future, credit card needed for a $250 to $1K security hold, your insurance declaration page that matches the address on your DL (if purchasing theirs research their document requirements), be aware of any add-ons needed to purchase such as roadside assistance or toll road transponders (and your liability if you refuse) and the fact that the quoted fee does not include taxes, surcharges and add-ons.

The problem is you went cheap with a garbage third party booking company. You forfeited good customer service which is evident by the fact Priceline took your money and left you hanging.

The rep at the agency owes you nothing. You chose to not use their customer service.

Guest

You obviously don’t understand the process of renting a car. The fact that you mistake a reservation for approval reinforces that fact.

Original review Jan 03, 2026

Hawthorne Extended Stay by Wyndham ran their night audit and it canceled my 2-night reservation. I showed up 1 hour after the audit.

I paid the desk for tonight but I need a refund, please. Angie is at the desk; she said she will be happy to confirm all the details. The number is 126********. I made this reservation a month ago; my daughter has a softball tournament here.

I really hope this gets resolved; I just want a refund for the one day.

I knew there was a chance I wouldn't make it here until this morning. Thank you.

  • Nobody contacted me to find out if i was coming so they could exclude my reservation from the night audit

Preferred solution: Price reduction

User's recommendation: Nowhere in any of their policies or anything does it say that if you show up after the night audit, the entire reservation gets canceled. Nobody from the hotel nor priceline called me to ask me if I'm still coming. I got here at 6am for a 2 night reservation that I made a month ago. When I came to check in after being on the road, my reservation was canceled. Looks like both Hawthorne extended stay by wyndham and priceline need to change/make some policies. I better get my money back lol

Inquiry deletion letter on a priceline CC

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been trying to get an inquiry deletion letter from priceline for 4 plus months now. It was over a fraudulent card opened without my knowledge or permission.

After they investigated the report, they found it to be in my favor. This account was fraudulently opened in July of 2025. Every time I call them, they give me a different reason why they haven't sent the letter out. We are now going into January 2026, and I'm still waiting for the letter.

This has been a absolutely horrible experience with priceline fraud dept.

Please help me on this matter. I don't know what else that i can do to resolve this
