I could always count on priceline to be consistent and I got what I paid for. This is no longer the case. The 3 1/2 star I stayed in was disgusting. No pillowcases on the pillows, filthy sheets, no water pressure, smelled like roach spray, fire extinguisher without inspection, fire hoses not in cases, elevators and ice machines not working, staff rude. Called priceline to complain and was transferred to booking.com. There was so much chatter in the background the rep couldn't hear me and hung up on me. What a shame. Deleting the app now. Good by priceline sorry quality and customer service are no longer part of your mission statement.

Priceline MORE Expensive than direct hotel reservation

I received the best rate guarantee from Priceline which I used countless times before and was told that the price was a thirty percent discount. In reality, it was thirty percent more than actually booking directly through the hotel. Conveniently, my Priceline account was blocked so I could not confirm the best price, even though I used Priceline four times three weeks ago! Please do your research, I just automatically expected Priceline to be cheaper over the years and for whatever reason this time I got burned. There are plenty of other services out there and I will be using them from now on. Priceline customer service were neither helpful or friendly. That is all I need to take my hard earned money elsewhere. I hope this was a helpful review.
