UPDATE: After many emails back and forth with priceline, either they do not care about the chaos they caused on our little 3 day vacation and how they ruined it by having us stay on the phone with them throughout most of the vacation, and making us pay the hotel again then reimbursing once we get home leaving us with no vacation money OR they do not understand. They refused to compensate at all stating that we did not have to pay the hotel more than we paid priceline.

True, we paid the hotel the same price, but we used our only credit card that we had and were unable to go anywhere because we had no money after paying for the hotel AGAIN. They do not understand we already paid! It was their mistake. And absolutely zero compensation.

Well, we will never use them again. Ever.

We traveled 9/26/22 - 9/30/22. I always use priceline and never had a problem.

My husband booked this one on his account and also never had a problem. Booked on 12/19/2021. When we got the hotel, the manager could not find our reservations. We showed her the confirmation email.

She took a credit card to hold funds and let us stay. The next day, she stopped us in the lobby and said priceline was not paying the hotel. We ended up going back to the room and called priceline. We were on the phone over an hour.

Was told the reservation was accidentally canceled by a rep. At this point. Nothing was accomplished. The rep just kept putting us on hold claiming that they are trying to reinstate the reservations through the 3rd party.

After an hour nothing was done and he said he'd call us back and never did. The next day we were on the phone again - most of the day, while on our sightseeing boat tour amongst other plans, we spent on the phone. By now, our special trip that we booked way in advance was ruined!! !The hotel manager kept on top of us for payment...

when this was already paid on our end. Finally, we were told we will have to pay the hotel and be reimbursed by priceline. #1 - this should have never hapened!!! We had only 3 full days on vacation and spent them on the phone when we already paid!

#2 - luckily my husband had enough credit to pay AGAIN.

#3- this payment that we had to make took all of our vacation money!

We actually had No credit left to go to a fee more places and dinner that we planned! This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. You guys should really make this right. I really wanted to use priceline forever, but now unfortunately i am not sure i will use priceline ever again.

And i have a trip to book early November. I'd like to see if you even acknowledge or apologize or compensate for this mess up that completely dampened our special occasion trip!!!

Preferred solution: Price reduction.
