Made a hotel reservation through Priceline. When I arrived at the hotel,

I was told they were overbooked and that the room I reserved and paid for did not exist. I called Priceline and was put on hold for 30 minutes.

I ended cancelling my reservation and making my own arrangements.

Customer service was horrible. Priceline wouldn't take my word for it and had to call the hotel to verify their own error. When they were able to verify that they booked a room for me that did not exist, they had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to book another hotel with them. H-ll no,

and I won't make that mistake again. Hotel told me that Priceline does this all the time with their bookings. I think that consumers should be warned. It's better to make contact with the hotel yourself. This is the second time that this has happened to me this calendar year.
