Total lack of Customer Service and Misleading website | Priceline review from Columbia, Missouri

I was driving back from a funeral it was 12:04 am I decided that I needed to get a hotel room and continue my trip in the morning. I booked a room at the Ramada Inn downtown Louisville, Ky. after receiving the confromation I realized the room was reserved for that night rather than when I need it to stop for the night. I called the Ramada and asked if they did indeed have a room at that time and was told they were booked and no rooms were available. I called priceline to cancel the booking at 12:30 am and was told I would have to pay a cancellation penitly for the room I booked 26 mins earlier. The person couldn't understand what I was saying so I asked for a supervisor. There were no supervisors available in fact they did not have supervisors only customer relations people. The priceline person told me to call around when they would be in 8 hours later. I called the company at 8 am and was put through to a customer relations person who told me I would have to speak to the manager but he would not be in until 11 am. Since I was going to be out of the eastern time zone I asked her what time zone was she in eastern,central, mountain, or pacific. She could not answer my question but told me to call in 3.5 hours. Come to find out the manager she was refering to was the Ramada in manager. I missed the three and a half time framed because of traffic, but called at 3:00 pm once I was able to stop driving. After speaking to the person at priceline I again was told the manager was not in still not knowing the manager they were talking about was the manager at the Ramada. I called Priceline one more time when I arriaved home at 5 pm and was told Priceline spoke to the manager of the Ramada and he refused to drop the cancellation fee. I am being charged for the room that I didn't use. If priceline was on the ball or at least told me that I needed to speak to the Ramada Inn manager I could have at least tried to call the hotel earlier to undo the booking. Priceline's customer services is unbelievably bad. I wish we could sent captian Kirk back to space and put this company out of business.

Booked thru PRICELINE.....DID Their bidding method... was supposed to be 100% pre-paid... Got screwed by hotel for RESORT fee (which was parking) Hotel was supposed to include room / tax and PARKING.... Priceline claims in their little print.. that YES>.. Hotel can charge you all kinds of additional fees.... BULLS*** - had done it many times before... this was a *** Hotel - off the beaten path in NO WHERE Georgia! Was a run-down "resort" property... NO ONE would stay there if they were traveling through as I was.... Priceline sold me the room cheap... but then I paid EXTRA FEES making my price higher!!

No Reservations | Priceline review from Wichita, Kansas

My family and I were traveling from Oklahoma to Kansas. Early in the day we got on price line and reserved a room for that evening in Wichita Kansas. Upon arrival i had my confirmation numbers in hand. We arrived at 1:00 am, very tired from many hours on the road and our two very young children in the car. Only to be told our reservations were not valid. I proceeded to show him my email confirmation. He told me it did not matter it was not showing on his computer. So he could nor give us the price we were told due to he had no paperwork on it. And the only way to cancel was if i called price line to cancel. So i asked for the number, he said he didn't know it. So by this time i am very upset, my children are sleeping in the car. So want to want the hotel next door that was alot nicer and very helpful and was cheaper than going threw price line. We learned our lesson and we will never go threw price line again.

Awful Experience | Priceline review from Indianapolis, Indiana

I drove from Indianapolis, IN to Los Angeles, CA which took 29 hours. We booked our hotel through Priceline stating there would be 2 adults and 2 children staying at the hotel. We arrive to find out that either Priceline or Agoda.com dropped the 2 children from our booking without our knowledge. They didn't have a room for us and we had to pay $20 for parking. After driving for 29 hours with 6 hours of sleep, someone telling us that there wasn't a room for us due to Priceline and/or Agoda.com's mess up was very upsetting. What we thought would be a wonderful experience turned into the worst experience ever. Never use Priceline or Agoda.com.

I tried Priceline for the first time. What a mistake. Unfortunately I had to cancel our flight to Dallas. We were given credit to use within a year for our flight. I understand there are cancellation fees. A month later I rebooked our flight to Dallas. I talked to someone on the phone to do this. I've already checked the availability of the flights and times. When I received the conformation I noticed the return flight was wrong. I called and was told to rebook this flight would cost an additional transfer fee. I argued that the mistake was Pricelines. After being place on hold for a while it was finally straitened out. Then I was told the return flight was no longer available and I would have to stay in Dallas an extra day. That was not an option. I just happen to be on the airlines website and the return flight was available. Again after being on hold for a while it was fixed. I thought everything was finally taken care of until I received a call after 10 pm to tell me they didn't charge me enough and there would be additional transfer fees. Ended up paying over $400 in fees. That was the price of one ticket to Dallas. So what happened to the credit? I asked for an itemized billing because of all of the charges and was told they can,t do that but if I had paper and a pen he will give me a break down. So without proof from them and only my word from what I was told I can't dispute the charges to my credit card. So I asked to speak to a supervisor or someone higher up and was told that I can write a letter and he will be happy to give me an address or fell free to go to there website. By the time I got off the phone it was 10:45 pm. I will never use them again. The worst experience ever.

THEY PUSH CUSTOMERS TO TRAVELOCITY AND KAYAK! HATE THEM! ACCIDENTALLY BOOKED TICKETS ON THE WRONG DATE AND CALLED THEIR CS DEPT. WOW!

HE CANCELED MY TICKETS SAYING I CAN BOOK ON THE RIGHT DATE. WHEN I TRIED TO BOOK, THEIR WERE NO FLIGHTS GOING OUT ON MY DATE SO I RE-BOOKED ON THE SAME DATE AGAIN..I WAS SICK WITH GRIEF SINCE MY BROTHER HAD PASSED AND DID NOT READ THE GOD FORSAKEN EMAIL NEITHER DID THE AGENT TELL ME THAT I CAN NOT BOOK ON THE SAME DATE OR MY MONEY WILL NOT BE RETURNED!! THEY TOOK 600 DOLLARS DUE TO A BAD AGENT AND NOW WON'T RESPOND BACK TO MY PLEAS!!

SUCH A TERRIBLE MISTAKE TO TO TO COMPANY THAT ONLY HAS EYES FOR POOR PEOPLE'S MONEY! DISAPPOINTED :(

Priceline Is A Ripp Off

I’ve used priceline.com for years. Always had to put card info in to make a bid nothing has changed as I could see ad least I thought. I went through the same process of bidding a rental car. I did not read the terms because the process was the same as always. You have to enter your card info in order to get a bid. Priceline have the customer put their card info in before they will give you a quote back on a bid and now they are debiting the customers account without your knowledge and will not refund the customers money. I wanted to compare your price with your competitors. After seeing that the reservation was processed without my knowledge and checking my bank account and seeing a debit from Priceline I called minutes after bidding to cancel and I was told I could not get a refund. I feel if the person doesn’t call ahead to cancel or show up to complete the transaction that would be a reason not to refund their money. You ripped me off for $74.22 that I do not have to just give away. They also are taking customer’s money for rental car companies that require you to have a credit card. If you make a reservation with a company that offer the best deal Priceline does not verify whether the company only accept credit cards which will mean if you don’t have a credit card and you make reservation with one of those companies you can lose your refund because car rental agreements are non-refundable. The deposit varies by the agreement you make with Priceline and you don’t have all the info until you complete the reservation. So you can’t really ask the rental car company questions until you complete the reservation process with Priceline. So that leaves you stuck. I will never do business with your company again and I will make sure to put the word out about how you miss lead your customers by having them putting their card info in before they can get a bid just so you can steal their money.

Priceline lies about there hotel ratings

I bid on a hotel for a 4 star hotel when in fact it was a 3 star.It did not look like a 4 star and on there own website under hotel info it clearly stated 3 star hotel. When i called to complain they said they will cancel my reservation. They did not! When i was sent to another CSR he said they will change that 3 star rating to a 4 star to just take the reservation.That was not what bid on The customer service was rude and talk down to me. I will never book with them again.

Hotel screw up! | Priceline review from San Diego, Cartago

I sent in my information 2 days ago for a hotel on priceline. Filling the information out, it told me I needed more options on the computer. I picked 2 more giving me 4 or 5, and it choose Downtown San Diego. I was billed $292. The price was fair, but I couldn't be in downtown San Diego. My girlfriend is Claustrophobic, and everyone knows that! Big city environments *** near kill her, or she cant stay awake! Anyone that knows her knows of her condition,..so i needed another hotel. Would have paid more for one if given the option. I booked another in Carlsbad north of San Diego, and will lose money on the downtown one. They were rude to me on the phone and gave me a bunch of *** about promises. Then was told by the hotel that I mite get a twin bed? I cant even get a bigger bed? "We only give so many rooms to price line"? BUNCH OF ***! Thier just taking peoples money all around. Will not be using them again, and will pass this on. And I better not be billed again for not showing up to the Weston downtown this Friday! You took my money, robbed me, cant get it back..theirs a free room for someone, leave me the *** alone!

Checked in at 5am. Parked in front as a valet area. To my mistake u must pull around back dark alley. I unloaded my bags left key for them to move it for $55 a day to park it figured would not be a problem. I checked in and went to bed. They knocked on door telling us to move the car that we did not leave key. My husband told them the key was o seat! He went down now 6am they the security staff did not knock and simply opened my room I was Naked!!, furious I went down to car saw the key!! And found they ransacked the car, stole money in console and cracked my cell phone screen!!! So it would not work. At All. YThey still refused to move car and called a tow truck and the sheriffs!,, I was no means rude at all but was asking for help since the move cars for clients all the time. It Was The Chicago Hilton lakeshore. I paid a lot. it's not done security thoughtIt would be fun to slam on our door again claiming an emergency. I went to desk no record of that happening of course and protocol would be to call the room. They promised to look into it as I filed a complaint NEVER HEARD. Anything. It is not Price line I am upset with at All!,,,,, they did what they promised.lastly, the whole purpose of the trip was to see our sonearn his three strips in the NAVY. Top honors at graduation. Through all this with police we missed the whole thing! We will never get that back! Heartbreaking,,,,,, ,

I pick the wrong hotel on priceline web pages once I submit the payment I relaize and call priceline to change the hotel that I had choice. The would not change, so I decided to go ahead and get my reservation at the Day Inns. The picture on the web pages didn't look that bad.So when I made it to the hotel the building didn't look good at all. Next I ask the front desk clerk to let me check the room. The room was so nasty and also had a terrible smell. The ceiling had crack and the room was not clean and fresh. So I went to tell the girl at the front desk that I just could not lay my head down and sleep in that bed. So She said that I have to call priceline to get a refund I call them and they told me that I have to getthe refund from the hotel. So I gueass you know I still haven't got a refund yet and had to find somewhere nice to stay.
