Hello, I have been charged for a hotel stay I did not attend. I have been patient but that is not working in my favor here apparently.
I spoke with over 5 customer service reps & still have not received any help. The case number given to me on 6/8/2022 was Case number: 164055****. That was the last time I spoke with someone.
Every time I spoke with someone, they said Id receive a call or email & none of that has happened.
Hoping this finds someone that knows how to help because this is unfortunately some of the worst customer service Ive experienced in a long time. I will not be using Priceline anymore once this situation is rectified.
Please help.
Ive been nice but I dont think that has been getting me anywhere. Ive had to explain this situation over & over for people to say Oh this is all that needs to happen but then that keeps not happening.

User's recommendation: Be sure to choose the correct dates for your stays because trying to prove that you didn’t stay in a hotel & still being charged for it is what’s happening to me right now because I chose the wrong dates moving too fast.

Roadway Inn overcharged for a dump
Hello,
I am a senior and on August 5, 2022, I booked with Priceline the Roadway Inn in Galveston, TX. I ased the agent for a safe motel with a pool and breakfast.
He said he had just the place. I was charged $158.00 for the motel. Two hours after booking, I drove to the motel with my young granddaughter ages 6 and 8-year-old. To our horror, the place was dilapidated.
It was 4:30 in the after noon. It looked like the ghetto. People were hanging out the doors and trash was everywhere. Two large white garbage bags were outside of our door and it looked like someone had kicked the door in.
I asked the agent to refund my money as there was no way, I would stay in such an unsafe place let alone with my grandchildren. He said he couldn't so I called the customer complaint line and they said they could give me a refund but could charge me for another motel. Priceline has billed my credit card for a service not requested. I asked for a safe clean place for children and got billed for a sleazy motel.
I will file with the better business bureau and write reviews on social media about these horrible services. I am surprised that you think this is a fair deal to charge people upfront an unfair price. you should have accommodated me by providing a better alternative for my money. In the end, I paid for a service not rendered.

The agent said they couldn't refund the money but would charge me for another location in Galveston.
on Friday, August 5, 2022. I asked your agent Juan to provide me with a safe hotel that included breakfast and pool. We arrived 2 hours after booking the hotel and found it to be unsafe.
The door kick plate was damaged and 2 large garbage bags were in front of the our door. There was trash everywhere and the place looked like

booked a round trip flight from Tampa to Burlington Vt. 8/25/22 and returning 9/01/22 conf# TWXCFY price was
357.71 charged to my DiscoverCard 8/9/22 manually keyed ticket # 780176**** also purchased Insurance for the flight for $21.46 also billed to my discover card on 8/10/22 CT 132******** My wife realized she booked the trip a month early (AUG VS SEPT) We called on 8/12/22 and rebooked the trip leaving Tampa on Sept.
23rd 2022 and returning on Sept. 30th 2022. Conf # TWXCFY The new ticket was a little more expensive.
$427.99 exchange ticket ID 001780****62112. I asked if the old ticket was cancelled and was told it was.
To date I have yet to see a credit to my Discover Card for $357.71 or for the insurance for $21.46. I assumed the $427.99 included the insurance. It looks like the updated flight is $785.70 !!!
If this is the case please cancel her flight as we cannot afford your priceline prices. Please advise me on your findings.

Preferred solution: hopefully this has been an error somewhere in the rebooking. Would like a refund of $357.71 for the original ticket and $21.46 for the insurance. Would like insurance on the new booking

Per their own policies, which I hope you read, are you even eligible for a refund? Never use a 3rd party booking site, always book directly with the brand.
Yeah I am. They said as long as the hotel can confirm that I didn’t stay, they would cancel the payment with affirm leaving me with nothing to pay. But for some reason, they have been having an issue contacting the hotel to get that proof & I guess they stopped trying
