Priceline Hotel Booking Review from Fort Lauderdale, Florida

I use the express deal to find a room for two adults in New Year's Eve. They gave us a twin size bed and claim it is for two adults. When we call Priceline the customer relationship didn't try to help us, instead the lady ask me are we trying to fit more people into the room instead of 2. It is rediculous, they don't help and they are insulting us. I get really pissed after she ask this rude question. So we tried to argue with them, the lady hang up on us. Seriously Priceline doesn't protect their customer. Don't use it! This is my first time being so pissed by any company. Guys just don't use it, they take your money and insult you.

Priceline - Rental Car

It is sad that your company (using fine print) can legally steal my money. I will NEVER use Priceline again. Not only that but I am going to warn everyone I can reach out to on social media of this *** business practice. Because $74 is a lot, considering your companies "service" didn't do ***, EXCEPT, take my money. A reputable company would have forced me to check that "little box" as soon as I tried to to pay with a debit card. But it cost me $74 dollars to learn that being reputable is not a concern of your company or their business practices. Happy holidays... I purchased a ticket for my Turkish fiancé (Five months of pay for a typical Turkish person) flying from Istanbul to Mexico City with the understanding from Priceline customer service that he would not need a transit visa if flying on the same airlines and was not going through customs. Then terrorist attacks in Paris happened and the transit visa rules started to become stricter, especially for Turkish citizens. I tried to change the ticket through Europe as we called every single embassy and asked about the changing rules. I was hysterically crying to the agents on two occasions (one put me on hold for 45 minutes) about the frustration of the visa change and about the situation who had absolutely NO compassion on the phone and told me the change in ticket price for a change in layover to Europe would cost an additional 8,000, pay up or hang up!!! I then tried everything in my power to try and obtain a transit visa for the three hours. I called Turkish airlines directly who told me that Priceline has locked them out of the system and were not allowed to change tickets. I called Aero-Mexico who told me the same thing, Priceline did not allow them to access the reservation. I called Priceline back who then told me to contact the airlines directly!!!!!!! Talk about the run around and highly highly unethical business practice to offer a solution that they know is impossible, that’s called LYING TO THE CUSTOMER! When a customer is complaining about a ticket being expensive and then the agent suggests a 8 times more expensive ticket is rude and degrading, followed up by making them chase around. My last ditch effort was to contact my congressman in my state. Can you believe that? Priceline would not help so I had to go to a congressman!!!! I had a meeting with my states representative that could not believe the story and the lengths that I had gone through. She sent a special message to the government who said that due to the increased terrorist threat they would not grant a transit visa regardless of the circumstances. I can send the formal email from the government regarding this request. This is all because Priceline would not refund my ticket or change the layover. Talk about capitalism at its finest! Now we have no money for the trip we had planned, its Christmas, and I am on the phone constantly with Priceline and the government trying to figure getting this ticket back. I was then handed to a manager who agreed with the situation and would look into refunding the ticket with Turkish airlines. He promised to call me back the next morning with a resolution. There was no call. I called the help desk, and the system could not find my number. I tried the chat help line and they told me to call someone else. Priceline give you the run around, steals your money, and leaves you with nothing. Good luck trying to get a hold of a person, or have your issue resolved as they frequently drop your call, put you on long wait lines, and promise to call you back and never do. Not only is the company inept at costumer service, they are also unethical and immoral as people (Islamaphobic?), to steal someone’s money and not let them change it or get their money back is stealing and poor business practice.

Priceline - Refused refund that we were entitled to. Will never use them again.

We tried to get refund for insurance we didn't want 3 days ahead and were told it wasn't allowed. When we got to car rental place we told the agent that and she said we could get a refund if we did it before we rented it.. By the time we got through to a Priceline rep it was 30 minutes past our pick up time (although we had been early) and so they would not refund!!! We repeated that we had calle ahead but been misinformed. Still no refund.horrible company

Priceline - Flight Booking Review from Fredericksburg, Virginia

I literally spent 1 hour 42 minutes with same customer rep trying to get s refund. I booked my flight for $453 6 days later they have the same flight on thier website for $425 and they refused to refund the difference despite the fact they claim they have a price guarantee. They claim guarantee is only for 24 hours. I could see if I was asking to match a competitors site. I was simply asking the refund of the difference. Then finally I was put through to a supervisor who stated nothing could be done because the price had gone back up in the time I was on hold. Simply unbelievable. worse customer service I have ever experienced.

May not of been this trip cancellation but I along with my parents and Sister were to go on a 14 day German excursion and two weeks before my Dad had a heart attack. They tried to say that this did not mean that the rest of us could not still go on the trip. My Dad after getting out of the hospital was finally able to get them to refund our money.

Priceline Car Rentals SUCK!

I booked airline tickets & a car rental with Priceline over the Thanksgiving holidays! They lead you to believe that if you book them together you will save a lot of $$. The truth is you can do better by booking your rental car directly through Hertz, etc...or through Costco Car Rentals. When I booked my reservations I also purchased the Travel Insurance just in case I needed to make any changes. Turns out, the information on the rental car was incorrect and the agency wasn't open at the time we arrived- frankly in the middle of nowhere- and that we would have to return in the AM to pick up the car. I called Priceline to cancel my booking and they wouldn't return the $397 they had already deducted from my account. I reminded them that I had purchased the travel insurance and they said that could only be applied to the airlines. I asked for a supervisor- no-luck. She just read that *** script that they are given. I have contacted my bank and they are fighting this for me. Hopefully I will be given a full refund for this!?! Furious! I will never book a rental car or airline reservation with Priceline again!
