Most vendors are flexible when it comes to unavoidable situations, but not Priceline! I made a reservation with Doubletree Stapleton because that is where my party of five said they were staying. I booked a rental car on through Priceline for Avis rental (airport) for 8/29-9/5 due to my vehicle being at the repair shop. I received notification 8/30 (5:30 pm) that something personal had come up and I was trying to return the car early (due to my situation) as I would not be able to use the rental car. Priceline is horrible. This company/website should be shut down. Only thing one will receive after payment is a complete run around. Any company that is in business with Priceline should drop them...it will give their business a bad name. This was my first and last time doing business with priceline.

I had booked tickets from Abu Dhabi to Washington Dulles on depature Aug 5 th and return on 23 rd aug 2016...for myself and my daugther ...due to transit visa issues we couldnt take this flight and we cancelled out ... PC, I was trying to book 2 nights for a room about 2 months ago using the Name Your Own Price feature on Priceline. I am just writing in now because after arguing with Priceline with no results whatsoever I just now found out my bank could not resolve the issue either. I went on to priceline to book a hotel for a family vacation to Newport beach, ca. Tried the "name you own price" option and selected the area and hotel rating. I needed 2 rooms for 3 nights I offered $100 per room per night. Priceline accepted the bid and booked a hotel out of the area. On August 9th I needed to book two rooms in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. I did not have access to Email so I received my replies on Priceline's website on my friends I-Pad. I made a mistake on an airline reservation and put my name as passenger instead of my grandson's name, who I was purchasing the ticket for. Unfortunately, it was on a "special fare", which wasn't all that special in the end. Turns out that this mistake is going to cost me over $400. (Interesting that the average loss is $403.) Worst company ever! In my opinion they are committing fraud and there is nothing consumers can do about it. I booked a room and they switched the reservation date on me because the hotel was full. Now They will not give me a refund even though the hotel has agreed to refund my money! I recently went in vaction and had reg a rental car in line! I got to air port after check in date. Had to turn around cause of a family emergency! Told them to cancel car cause I would not be able to use it! Trying to get a refund now on something that was never used due to a family death! And all the customer service team told me was well I am sorry we cannot refund you!!
