PC, I was trying to book 2 nights for a room about 2 months ago using the Name Your Own Price feature on Priceline. I am just writing in now because after arguing with Priceline with no results whatsoever I just now found out my bank could not resolve the issue either. I went on to priceline to book a hotel for a family vacation to Newport beach, ca. Tried the "name you own price" option and selected the area and hotel rating. I needed 2 rooms for 3 nights I offered $100 per room per night. Priceline accepted the bid and booked a hotel out of the area. On August 9th I needed to book two rooms in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. I did not have access to Email so I received my replies on Priceline's website on my friends I-Pad. I made a mistake on an airline reservation and put my name as passenger instead of my grandson's name, who I was purchasing the ticket for. Unfortunately, it was on a "special fare", which wasn't all that special in the end. Turns out that this mistake is going to cost me over $400. (Interesting that the average loss is $403.) Worst company ever! In my opinion they are committing fraud and there is nothing consumers can do about it. I booked a room and they switched the reservation date on me because the hotel was full. Now They will not give me a refund even though the hotel has agreed to refund my money! I recently went in vaction and had reg a rental car in line! I got to air port after check in date. Had to turn around cause of a family emergency! Told them to cancel car cause I would not be able to use it! Trying to get a refund now on something that was never used due to a family death! And all the customer service team told me was well I am sorry we cannot refund you!!

I purchased a car rental and the insurance through Priceline. I have older vehicles and do not carry full coverage hence the reason that I bought the insurance through Priceline. We get to the ticket counter of National Car Remtal only to be told they will not honor the rental or the insurance because we do not carry full coverage. Made hotel reservations via Priceline.com on Mar 25 2016 for a weekend family affair on Aug 05th & 06th 2016. We received a Priceline.com Confirmation # for same. Upon our arrival the hotel had absolutely nothing in the system for us. I have used priceline in the past with good results. Until todays visit anyways. I needed to book a hotel for next month. I found one I like, the priceline page said "PAY LATER" and "FREE CANCELLATION" which are two reasons I use Priceline. Rarely my plans change but I always prefer to pay AT the hotel on the day I arrive. I booked a flight through priceline and the next day found that very same flight has dropped in price on multiple websites including priceline. I called priceline customer service in order to take advantage of their priceline price guarantee policy.
